The conception and creation of creative shared workspace THE COLLECT in Ōtautahi (Christchurch), New Zealand.

A creative response to the need for fresh ventures, contemporary environments and social connection in a post-earthquake landscape.

THE COLLECT was designed to be a warm, welcoming and inspiring space for a community of freelancers, start-ups and small businesses to gather, connect, work alongside each other and have a beautiful home base in the heart of the city.

The aesthetic was considered around warm natural materials paired alongside raw industrial features with an abundance of collected curios to continuously surprise and delight.

Conceptualised in 2013, launched in Dec 2015 and finalised in 2021.
